Dorisa leads the Technology Transactions practice. She focuses her practice on technology-based transactions, including intellectual property acquisitions and licensing strategies for life sciences and technology companies including artificial intelligence and digital platforms.

As a general counsel for a multi-brand international cosmetic distribution company, Mazal Group Inc., she managed day-to-day legal matters, handling, enforcing and prosecuting over 100 IP assets spanning 25 counties. She is recognized expert in new media law, intellectual property exploitation, social media law, copyrights and trademark protection and related legal and business affairs. Using her expertise in intellectual property law, and contract negotiation she advises clients in deal making, development, and marketing, on web, mobile and social platforms.

Dorisa’s representative transactions include: development, collaboration, license and material transfer agreements for a broad range of life science technologies including gene therapy, genomics, proteomics and bioinformatics technologies; software, telecommunications and IT agreements, including technology development, licensing and marketing agreements; clinical trial agreements; and supply, distribution, sales representative and other supply-side agreements for biopharmaceuticals, diagnostic, medical device, telecommunications and software products. She handles investment agreements and IPO deals for technology companies. She also manages IP portfolios for companies internationally and domestically.

She worked at Clifford Chance in Barcelona Spain handling several large pharmaceutical patent deals and litigations. After law school she clerked with San Francisco Superior Court. She spent her first summer clerking for an Italian firm Trevisan & Cuonzo Avvocati in Milan, Italy.
